First seminar as part of the CARE programme: a focus on work-related stress among healthcare workers
As part of the CARE – Caring for the Caregivers programme, the first seminar was held for nurses at the Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital — ‘Work-related stress in nursing practice: understanding and self-regulation’.

The seminar was conducted by the project’s team of psychologists and focused on the topic of work-related stress as an integral part of healthcare workers’ professional activities under conditions of increased workload.
During the event, participants focused on understanding the nature of stress, its impact on physical and emotional well-being, and the importance of timely recovery during daily work.

Particular attention was paid to recognising the signs of burnout and the factors affecting healthcare workers’ resilience in the professional environment.
Holding such seminars is part of a sustained effort aimed at developing practical approaches to supporting the psychological and emotional well-being of medical staff and integrating these into work processes.
Supporting healthcare workers during periods of prolonged stress is a key factor in ensuring the stable operation of healthcare facilities and the quality of care provided to patients.

The “CARE” project is implemented by the European Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development (EUCCD) with the support of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic under the MEDEVAC programme, in partnership with the Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital.
