Stress management in the daily work of healthcare professionals

As part of the CARE programme, practical sessions were held focusing on managing the nervous system under professional pressure.

The focus was on supporting nurses who work in challenging conditions every day and need effective tools to maintain their professional resilience.

Participants worked in a practice-oriented format: they explored their own reactions to stress and practised short interventions that can be applied directly during their shifts.

The sessions are led by Olga Lazorko — Doctor of Psychology, Professor at the Department of General and Clinical Psychology at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.

The CARE programme is implemented by the European-Ukrainian Council for Cooperation and Development (EUCCD) with the support of the Czech Ministry of the Interior as part of the MEDEVAC programme, in partnership with the Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital.
