🩺 Happy International Nurses Day!
Every year on 12 May, the world celebrates International Nurses Day — a holiday established in honour of the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who became a symbol of nursing and laid the foundations for professional patient care over 150 years ago.
The CARE – Caring for the Caregivers project exists because we recognise that nurses bear a huge emotional and physical burden — especially in times of war. And it is they who are most often left without the support they themselves provide to others every day.
We warmly congratulate the nurses of the Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital on their special day. Thank you for every shift, for every step you take towards a patient — and for continuing to be a pillar of support even when you yourselves need it.
